| Job Description: |
Materials Manager responsible for all aspects of the Material Management and Warehouse functions in a cGMP environment. These functions will include but are not limited to ordering, receiving, tracking, handling and shipping of all finished products, raw materials (excipients, components and API’s) as well as operational supplies for the Operations, Research & Development and Laboratory groups located at GeoPharma Pharmaceuticals in Sunrise Florida. |
| Responsibilities: |
- Coordinate all aspects of the Materials Management of cGMP pharmaceutical products in our Sunrise, FL facility.
- Scheduling workflow to include, raw material & component receipt, sampling, quarantine, release, transfer, staging, weighing, reclassification, labeling, storage and distribution.
- Responsible for ensuring all specifications for quality as defined by GeoPharma are carried out for all warehouse operations.
- Purchase raw materials and components used in the manufacture of products for the Operations and R&D Departments.
- Manage materials flow of all products manufactured in the GeoPharma cGMP manufacturing suite.
- Initiate best pharmaceutical practices for warehouse operations.
- Coordinate with the management team as required.
- Coordinate distribution of finished dosage product to customers.
- Managing and coordinating DEA procedures as it relates to warehouse operations.
- Implement and manage the J.D. Edwards Warehouse module.
- Hire trained personnel to operate the Warehouse functions. |
| Requirements: |
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent, in a science related field and 5 years experience in the Materials Management / Warehousing capacity with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience and knowledge on Materials Management / Warehousing operations.
- Demonstrated project management skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills. |
